Essilor Varilux X Series – Natural Vision

The new Varilux X series is the first varifocal lens that provides complete visual freedom. It dramatically reduces head movement which gives you natural vision. This lens is by far the best varifocal that Esslior™ have ever designed, and we can’t wait to demonstrate it to you.

Your posture and the way you look at things up close have changed. You're now drinking coffee while texting the kids, sending an email via a tablet on the train, or checking your social news feed every other hour. In short, everything that matters today happens within arm's reach. Before now, no varifocal lens had been designed to accommodate these modern-day behaviours. Therefore, you had to 'point your nose to where you wanted to look at'.

The Varilux X series removes this limitation through its 'Xtend' technology. You no longer need to move your head to see clearly.

Barnham Options is just simply the best by far. Very friendly and happy to look after you, nothing is ever too much. Mandy, Tony and all the staff are so lovely and polite and we are always made to feel extremely welcome. My son started wearing glasses January 2017 after a school examination, very frightening as nearly blind in one eye, but working with this options and Cindy at Chichester hospital and Richard doing my sons eye tests, he’s come along so far it’s just truly amazed me. My son bends, scratches usual 6 yr old boy stuff and this options can, repair, get New ASAP for him. I have never been impressed by an option before. This is a business that goes above and beyond and I can’t praise there professionalism enough. They also look after me and my eyes and have some great ranges of glasses for all low to high. Thank you all at Barnham options you truly are just amazing

"I am a very grateful customer. I recently purchased new glasses with Essilor lenses from Barnham Opticians. Tired of cheap lenses and the distortion effect associated with them, I researched what the market promotes as high quality lenses. Essilor came up time and again. Then I Googled "Opticians who sell Essilor in West Sussex". Barnham Opticians website popped up! From the first friendly and professional phone call to make an eye test appointment, I felt I was in good hands, and so I was. The optician was not rushed and gave me relaxed time to ask questions as my test was being carried out. Then I was passed on to Mandy who dispensed my choice of new frames and Essilor lenses. Have no doubt, whilst you pay more for quality, the difference between Essilor and cheaper lenses available at Asda, Boots, Specsavers etc is night and day. My new lenses have no distortion so I have the benefit of sharp vision wherever I look. I am not trying to peer through the narrow corridor to read that cheaper lenses provide. I use a computer too so am aware of how the "up and down movement" of your head affects the quality of sight. Essilor is different. It is always sharp. I appreciate that cheap lenses, for some, are a question of what you can afford but if you are keen to make a good investment in your eyes (which I believe is more important than other luxuries) then choose the best quality lenses. One final word. Barnham Opticians has the most pleasant atmosphere. It is good old fashioned warm, friendly, caring and personal customer service. They make you feel you matter and that they have your best interests at heart. If I add to that they are dog friendly, offering yummy dog treats, I know that when Tikva, my 5 year old gorgeous Cavachon comes to needing glasses, Barnham Opticians is where she will choose!"
